2011 Citroen DS

The return of the DS is one of the more anticipated events at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, where the manufacturer Citroën is planning a slew of DS cars, mainly to rival the Audi.
The release of the 2011 Citroen DS is in line with the company’s 90th anniversary celebration this month.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Toyota's Toyopet dealerships, the automaker has worked with the legendary design studio to produce the Harrier Zagato for the Japanese market. It was unveiled today at the 2006 Tokyo Auto Gallery, a tuner/specialty car show now in its 6th year. Only 250 examples will be built.

A pure appearance package, the Zagato modifications take the sleek and sedate Harrier and give it the look of a rally car. The front fascia is overhauled with an open-look grille, new bumper, and a lip spoiler that houses round foglights. The changes continue as you walk around the car. Bulging, ventilated fender flares and lower body cladding carry the aggressive new profile to the rear, where you find revised bumper and a deeper roof spoiler. Gold five-spoke Zagato Design wheels complete the package.

The three special editions consist of one Grand Sport and two regular Veyron models. Like previous special editions, the three editions shown in Dubai feature special exterior and interior colours and use of special materials like magnesium and platinum.

The Bugatti Veyron Nocturne is the first of these special editions and is limit to just five pieces.

Car modification is an area I have dabbled in myself and I must confess to finding great enjoyment in it. There will always be those who see anyone who modifies their car as a “Boy” or “Girl” racer. Of course, this may be the case for some, but others spend a huge amount of time and money on their beloved cars. The last thing on their mind would be driving dangerously and jeopardising the safety of their most precious item.

The modifying of your car can provide a welcomed focus and is certainly very enjoyable. There are many hobbies that appear superficially to follow a similar theme. Modifying a Pc and adding the latest parts, such as a new processor to increase performance is very similar to adding a new component to a car to increase speed and performance. Indeed, it can be said that to many of us, most things in life can come down to speed or performance in one way or another.

The topic that will never be far from this one is that of modified or performance car insurance. Of course if you modify and improve the performance of your car you will pay a higher premium price. Nevertheless, for some of us it can be a struggle to find a car insurance company even willing to insure a modified or performance car in the first place. Then you will have to consider paying an extortionate amount to cover your car, leaving most us a nervous wreck.

AUDIOBAHN ACAP4P 1 Farad Digital Capacitor Chrome

My plan now is to buy 2 X AUDIOBAHN 1 Farad Capacitor , and 1 X AUDIOBAHN active crossover in the near future. Once I got my stuff ready, I will then customize my car, possibly using fibre, carpet etc to rearrange my system, so that it will look nicer.

So if you ask why do we need a capacitor, the reason is simple, so that it can store extra power from the battery and ensure every beat of the woofer/sound is equally powerful. If only you have noticed, when you are listening to a songs that have continuos strong bass, the first beat is always that powerful, however, once it reaches the 3rd or 4th beat, the bass become softer and muffled. Thus, having a capacitor will store the power in advance before every beat.

If you look in the market, there are a lot of brands, which may state 2 farad, 3 farad or even more. However, most of the cheap capacitor do not even produce 20% of their stated power. Meaning that if they say 2 farad, the actual power they can store is about 0.2-0.4 farad only.

With AUDIOBAHN, this is not an issue. It can truly store close to 1 farad and thus produce sufficient power. In addition, this capaitor comes with full chrome body, just like its amplifier. In my next post, I will post the functions of active crossover, and if possible, take a snap of my amplifiers in the dark, which they illiminates blue.
