The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 benefits the combined might of the HDi diesel engine and an electric motor during acceleration and when an immediate increase of power is required (a “boost” function). The combined maximum power is 200 hp, 163 hp engine 2.0 HDi FAP diesel and 37 hp electric motor. A maximum torque of 500 Nm is available, broke with 300 Nm at the front of the HDi diesel engine and 200 Nm generated by the rear electric motor.
In front, the latest Peugeot design suggestions have been adapted to match the generous proportions of 3008 and to mark a break with existing models. The headlights are now a member of the bar of LEDs to provide a daytime light function and enhance the appearance of 3008. The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 also proudly wears the badge of the lion in his castle.At the rear, the rear spoiler is finished in two colors with a black spot of high brightness, helping to differentiate it from other models in the 3008 range, as well as the chrome emblems that decorate the sides and rear of the car.
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 will be produced in France (in Sochaux and Mulhouse) and marketed in spring 2011 in Europe.
